Career Preparation
A major in mathematics will give students a substantial introduction to an immense area of interesting and useful ideas. It will also equip them for careers in business, industry, government, or for study at the graduate level.
Graduated Mount Union College mathematics majors are now working and doing research in industry, business and government, as well as teaching in high schools and colleges. Some graduates are continuing their education in graduate schools and others are employed as actuaries or executives in major business firms throughout the United States.
