If you are the type of person who enjoys working out, staying in shape and working with adolescents and young adults, you should consider a career in physical education.
Mount Union College physical education majors enjoy hands-on training in such areas as kinesiology, teaching, coaching, and learning how to help others stay healthy.
The teacher certification program in physical education at Mount Union is designed to prepare you to meet state teaching licensure standards for physical education in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Endorsed by the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) and the Ohio Department of Education, Mount Union's program will prepare you for a rewarding and challenging career.
Our teaching graduates are recognized as quality physical educators who are highly competitive in the employment market. Graduates can be found teaching physical education in school districts across Ohio and throughout the county.
