At Mount Union, Asian studies students will draw upon knowledge from the humanities, social sciences and the fine arts. This major will give students knowledge of the entire world and not merely of Western tradition.

The Asian studies major will prepare graduates for careers where knowledge of other cultures and civilizations is necessary for success. Graduates pursue careers in teaching, politics or government service, social agency work, administrative positions, library or historical preservation and business.

Requirements of the Asian studies major come from diverse disciplines such as art, history, music, political science and religious studies. Internships and attending local conferences are just a few of the experimental learning options available for students.
