Do you own any animals/pets:
Not only am I active in my professional field, but I am also an owner and breeder of Paso Fino horses! It has been a very rewarding and enjoyable business. My family and I live on an 18 acre farm just outside Alliance, Oh where we raise, train, sell, and show Paso Fino horses. We also have a wide range of other animals on the property, including dogs, cats, a miniature horse, tropical fish and even a sidewinder turtle. In my ?spare? time, I enjoy reading historical novels and walking or horseback riding through the woods enjoying the miracles of Mother Nature.
Other Activities:
In addition to teaching, I keep abreast with things going on in my field by working as a consultant. This provides me with opportunities to integrate the theoretical concepts with the practical in real world. Providing these real world examples helps students to cross the bridge between theory and practice and provides contacts that enable my students to work on projects with area businesses. I am also faculty adviser to the Mount Union College Investment Team.
