Students within the Department Economics, Accounting, and Business Administration at Mount Union College can broaden their horizons by becoming more involved with their majors on campus. By being more active, students get real-world experience that supplements classroom learning. They are more prepared for the challenges they may face in a future work environment.

The following on-campus organizations are associated with aspects of the Department of Economics, Accounting, and Business Administration:

Accounting Club- If you think accountants are just "number crunchers" think again. The Mount Union Accounting Club exists to promote interest in, and an awareness of, the accounting profession and the career opportunities it offers. Membership is open to current students whove successfully completed at least one accounting course.

American Marketing Association- Mount Unions chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) offers students interested in advertising, sales, marketing research, public relations, and other marketing-related professions with opportunities to interact with a variety of experienced practitioners. Chapter activities include volunteer projects, fund-raisers, networking events, workshops, guest speakers and site visits.

Investment Team- Members of Mount Union's Investment Team Manage four different Stock Portfolios; "Oak" Portfolio, Hillier Portfolio, Datek Portfolio, and Mcdonald Portfolio.

Society for Advancement of Management- Gain "hands on" experience in utilizing various management resources (capital, people, facilities, equipment) to ensure both organizational and personal success. Membership in the Mount Union chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management requires a 2.5 overall GPA, and exposes aspiring managers to the essential concepts, philosophies, and principles of business.

Tau Pi Phi- Members of Tau Pi Phi, a national honor society for students with business-related majors, are recognized for the exceptional academic achievement. Member requires a 3.0 overall GPA, a 3.3 GPA in departmental coursework and successful completion of eight courses in business administration, economics and/or accounting.
