Have you dreamed of working in politics or for the government? Would you like to work for a social agency? Are you a strong-minded Republican or firm Democrat? If so, then Mount Union's political science major might interest you.

The political science major at Mount Union College teaches students the processes of different political institutions. You will learn through class discussion and participation about decision making in the political world.

Opportunities such as Model United Nations, internships, mock trial and international security simulations and preparing graduates for career success are offered for Political Science students.

Political science majors enter the workforce as legislative and congressional aids, U.S. Secret Service agents, city and county administrators, elected officials and lawyers. If you are interested in any of those career paths, a continued education in the political science field is right for you.
