Transient Students: Transient students – those students who are regularly enrolled at another college or university but who seek approval to register for classes at Mount Union as a transient in order to have credit transferred to the home institution – must apply to the College by submitting the required Transient Application Form (available here ) to the Office of the Registrar. Although official transcripts are not required as part of the transient application process, a student seeking transient status at Mount Union must present evidence of good academic and disciplinary standing at the home institution. Following completion of the academic work, a transient student must request an official transcript be sent to the home institution in order to transfer credit.

Registration Information:
Traditional students must consult with their advisors; then they may register online. Transient students must register through the Office of the Registrar, in person, or by phone or e-mail.

Reminder: If you must withdraw from a course, a withdrawal form must be signed as soon as possible. It is critical that you notify the Office of the Registrar immediately. Failure to withdraw properly may result in a failing grade and tuition owed for the class.

Refund Policy: The charges for tuition and fees assessed the student are based on the number of calendar days (including weekend days) enrolled in direct proportion to the number of calendar days in the specific summer session. The student who withdraws after 60% of the session is completed will be charged for the whole session. See college catalogue page 29-30 for return of financial aid funds.

Note to students with financial aid (Federal Pell Grant and/or Federal Stafford Loan, alternative loans): if you want to apply for financial aid, contact the Office of Student Financial Services for a summer financial aid application. Certain restrictions apply. If you withdraw from classes after they have started, it can affect the amount of aid you can use for expenses. The Office of Student Financial Services will calculate your changes, based on the last date of attendance as determined by the Office of the Registrar.

Payment in full for each summer session is due by the Friday before classes begin. Please send payment to: Mount Union College, Cashier, 1972 Clark Ave., Alliance, OH 44601. A $50 fee will be charged for late registration – please see above for dates for each session.
