Federal Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling

Students borrowing for the first time at Mount Union College will be required to complete student loan entrance counseling via the web at your convenience. If interested in completing this requirement prior to the start of classes, please go to Mount Union College's entrance counseling website .

• Complete a registration form and log onto the website (The registration form can be found on Mount Union's entrance counseling website ).
• Complete all required information so Mount Union College can receive your results.
• The results will be kept on file in your financial aid folder in the Office of Student Financial Services.

Federal Stafford Loan Exit Counseling

A student borrower will also be responsible for attending a student loan exit counseling session prior to graduation or prior to leaving college (time and location to be announced). Exit counseling can also be done via the web by clicking here for Stafford Loans.

• Log onto the website (If you are not a registered user, you will need to complete a registration form prior to log on).
• Complete all required information so Mount Union College can receive your results.
• The results will be kept on file in your financial aid folder in the Office of Student Financial Services.

We encourage all students to monitor their federal student loan balance through www.nslds.ed.gov . This site does require the use of the student's federal PIN number to access their information. This PIN can be obtained at www.pin.ed.gov .
