The 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be filed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov as early as January 1, 2008.
Here are the steps to successfully file a 2008-2009 Renewal FAFSA:
- Locate the PIN # for the student and parent. Duplicate PIN requests can be made at www.pin.ed.gov
- Gather W-2's, 2007 federal income tax returns, and financial information for student and parent
- Complete the 2008-2009 Renewal FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
- Include Mount Union College (003083) and your housing preference under Step 6.
- Electronically sign the FAFSA using the student and parent PIN numbers and submit.
Traditionally, our office sends financial aid awards to upperclassmen as early as May 1st.
