Raiders Lose To Notre Dame College

Mount Union's baseball team (19-15) lost to Notre Dame College (20-20) on Monday, April 28 in Alliance, Ohio.
The Raiders would earn their first run in the bottom of the first inning when freshman Craig Knott hit a two out double. Knott scored on a passed ball, giving the Purple and White a 1-0 lead.
Notre Dame would respond in the bottom of the second, scoring one run on one hit. In the bottom of the third, the Falcons scored again, making the score 2-1. Thier bats stayed hot in the top of the fourth, scoring four more runs.
Mount Union would fight back in the bottom of the sixth and eighth innings, scoring two runs. Their efforts were not enough as Notre Dame would finish the game 6-3.
Offensively, the Raiders were led by Knott, who was 2-3, sophomore Connor Nell was 2-2 and senior Andy Warner who was 1-2 with two RBI.
