John Witkowski enters his second season as the head men’s soccer coach at Mount Union College.

Before coming to Alliance, Witkowski spent five seasons as an assistant coach at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland.  In his time there, Frostburg State was a nationally ranked program with one regional All-American and 36 All-Conference selections.

On the pitch, Witkowski was a four-year letterwinner for legendary coach Jim Lennox at Hartwick College, a tradition-rich NCAA Division I program in Oneonta, New York that has made 22 NCAA Championship appearances.  At Hartwick, he was a three-time recipient of the Phillip S. Wilder, Jr. Award for Academic Distinction and earned bachelor degrees in business management and accounting with minors in economics, finance and religious studies.  Witkowski also earned a master's degree in human performance from Frostburg State in 2004.

Off the pitch, Witkowski is a member of both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and holds the NSCAA Premier, Advanced National, National, Goalkeeping Regional, Director of Coaching, and National Youth diplomas.

Bryn Varhol

Bryn Varhol is in his second season as an assistant men's soccer coach at Mount Union College.

Varhol was a four-year letterwinner at goalkeeper, team captain and graduated in 2007 with a degree in business administration from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland. 

During his playing career, he was the recipient of the Gilbert Grey Memorial Leadership Award in 2006, voted on by his teammates. He was also a student assistant coach at Frostburg (2006-07) and holds the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Advanced Regional Diploma.

Eric Gorman moves from the pitch to the sidelines in his first year as an assistant men's soccer coach at Mount Union College.

Gorman is familiar with the Purple Raider program as he was a four-year letterwinner at midfielder and team captain at Mount Union graduating this past year with a bachelor's degree in sport business with minors in business administration and French.

The Marlington High School grad was a two-time recipient of the Mount Union Coaches Award and last year was named to the all-tournament teams at Fredonia State (NY) and Westminster (PA).
