Our office was founded approximately 1990-1991, which at that time was known as Minority Student Affairs and was facilitated by part time Director Gregory King. The name of the office changed to Multicultural Student Affairs in 1993, with the hiring of the second full-time Director Cynthia Graham. In 2002, our third Director LaTashia R. Reedus was hired. Under her leadership, Reedus further diversified and expanded the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs, and as of May 1, 2005 the office acquired its first full-time Assistant Director/program coordinator, Sherylynn Chapman-Thomas. In July of 2007, Mount Union College named Richard G. Jackson as the new director, who plans to take the office in a new and exciting direction.
