James and Carolyn Mackey of Tallmadge, Ohio are faithful supporters of Mount Union College.
The Mackey's have a long family history of continuous and unwavering support of the College. James and Carolyn have, for many years, supported The Edward J. & Mary Shull Mackey scholarship fund. This fund was established in 1984 from a gift by Edward J. Mackey '24 and his wife Mary (Shull '27) Mackey of Stow, the parents of James Mackey.
In addition to scholarship support, the Mackey's attend numerous Mount Union events each year, and recently, James was heavily involved in bringing together the 1952 graduating class of Mount Union College for their 50-year reunion.
Mount Union College is a much stronger place because of the type of support that is provided by alumni and friends like James and Carolyn Mackey.
