Other Activities

ALPHA is a 13-15 week study of Christianity and the Bible. Its focus is to answer some of the most challenging questions that Christians face. Through video commentary, journaling, and discussion the participants journey into the Christian life together.

United Methodist Student Movement is a fellowship group for United Methodist students on campus. The national organization meets yearly around the U.S.

Listening Post allows older adults from Copeland Oaks retirement community and local churches to come to campus once a week to provide sympathetic ears for students and campus members.

Additional Services

Spiritual Life Festival is an effort to provide incoming and returning students a chance to meet both campus religious life organizations and representatives from local churches.

Alcoholics Anonymous hosts an open discussion meeting weekly. This crucial 12-step process is open to any needing support and encouragement as they face life's challenges.

Weddings of alumni, faculty and staff; their family members and community members are held in Dewald Chapel.

Memorial Services for alumni, trustees, faculty, staff and students take place in Dewald Chapel at the request of members of the campus community.

The Fortune Meditation Room is available for prayer seven days a week, 24 hours a day for students, staff and faculty. Occasionally, prayer vigils are hosted by various student organizations.
