Senior Mike Fatigante Earns Academic All-OAC Honors

Mount Union College senior/wing Mike Fatigante (Sewickley, PA/Avonworth) earned 2007-08 Men’s Basketball Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) status, as announced by the Conference Office on Tuesday, March 11.

Fatigante, a health and physical education major with a 3.96 grade point average, started every game this season for the Purple Raiders.  He averaged 4.9 points per game and finished second on the team in rebounding with a 4.8 rebounds per game. In addition he was third on the team in minutes played (30 min/g).

This season Fatigante scored a career-high 11 points in a win against Hiram on November 16.  In a home win against Otterbein on February 9, he pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds and recorded a career-high seven assists.

Overall, Mount Union finished the 2007-08 campaign 9-17 and 6-12 in the OAC.
