Bryce Basista Named OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Bryce Basista has won the last two races he has entered.

(AUSTINTOWN, OH)--Mount Union College senior Bryce Basista (North Ridgeville/Elyria Catholic) was named Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Basista ran a time of 26:06 to win the Penn State-Behrend Invitational last Saturday in Erie, PA.

He led the Purple Raiders to the team title at the event.

It marked the second straight week that Basista won a race after winning the Ric Sayre/Walsh University Invitational last week.

This week Basista and the rest of the Mount Union team will race at the Otterbein Invitational Saturday morning in Westerville, OH.
