#24 Raider's Men's Cross Country Takes Fifth At Regionals
Mount Union's men's cross country team, ranked #24 in the nation according to the latest Coaches' Poll, placed fifth (143 points) out of 38 schools competing at the Great Lake's Regional meet on the campus of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI on Saturday, November 10.
Senior Kyle Basista placed 10th overall with a time of 25:15. Other Raider scorers included junior Dustin Ford in 16th (25:27), senior Brian Bernard at 18th(25:33), sophomore Bryce Basista in 43rd (26:04) and freshman Gary Bowman in 56th (26:18).
The #1 ranked host Calvin (27 points) took the top spot, follwed by the #11 Ohio Northern (114 points).
The Purple Raiders will next compete at Nationals at St. Olaf's, MN next Saturday, November 17 starting time is TBA.
