Three Raider Men's Tennis Standouts Earn All-OAC Honors
Mount Union College sophomores Brian Mogus (Canton/South), Brian Widdoes (Reynoldsburg) and freshman Zach Perry (Hudson) earned 2008 All-Ohio Athletic Conference status, announced the OAC office on Thursday, May 1.
For the second consecutive year, Widdoes collected Second-Team All-OAC honors. In 2007-08 he finished with a 17-3 mark mostly at #3 singles.
Mogus also earned Second-Team All-OAC honors this year finishing with a 12-5 overall record at #2 singles. Mogus also compiled a 7-2 doubles mark mostly at #3 doubles.
Perry earned Honorable-Mention All-OAC status with a 13-8 record as the team's #1 singles player. Perry also went 14-7 mostly at #1 doubles.
Mount Union (18-5 in ’07-08) finished in third place in the Ohio Athletic Conference during regular season play and fell to #2 seed Baldwin-Wallace in the conference tournament semifinals.
