Purple Raiders Fall To Polar Bears

Mount Union's wrestling team (2-12,1-3 OAC) lost 29-16 to Ohio Northern (9-8,4-1 OAC) on Tuesday, January 29 in Alliance, Ohio.

Leading the way for the Purple and White was Shawn O'Neill (141 pounds) who recorded a pin fall victory and Nicholas Allerding (184 pounds) who kept his undefeated record by getting a major decision victory. Other winners for the Purple Raiders were Sean Dreger (149 pounds) and Adam Lange (197 pounds).

The Raiders will next travel to Illinois to compete at the Wheaton Invitational on February 1 and February 2.
