Wrestling Scores 38-6 Win at Baldwin-Wallace
(BEREA, OH)--Mount Union's wrestling team scored a 38-6 win at Baldwin-Wallace in an Ohio Athletic Conference match Tuesday night in Berea.
Mount Union (8-3, 3-1 OAC) scored wins in eight of the 10 matches and tallied pins by Riki Reynolds (Marion/Marion Pleasant) at 125, Richie Clark (Solon/Solon) at 149, Andy Jenkins (Stow/Woodridge) at 184 and Derrick Hesson (Dexter City/Caldwell) at 285.
The Purple Raiders also got major decisions from John Piechuta (Alliance/Marlington) at 165 and Bill Schindel (Tallmadge/Akron Hoban) at 197.
Baldwin-Wallace falls to 4-12 and 0-4 in the OAC.
Mount Union travels to the Wheaton (IL) Pete Wilson Invite this weekend.
