Women's Soccer Can't Find the Net at Muskingum

(NEW CONCORD, OH)--Mount Union College's women's soccer team outshot Muskingum College, 25-19, but it was the Muskies who scored the game's only goal in handing the Purple Raiders a 1-0 Ohio Athletic Conference defeat Wednesday in New Concord.

Mount Union falls to 4-10-1 overall and 1-5-0 in the OAC, while Muskingum moved it record to 6-7-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the OAC.

The Raiders dominated play in the first half outshooting the Muskies, 12-7, but could not score as it was 0-0 at the break.

Muskingum notched its goal in the 52nd minute off a header from Sheli Fisher.

Mount Union plays its regular season home finale Saturday at 1 p.m. against Capital University at Mount Union Stadium.
