Two Raiders had double-wins: Mike Kuzma posted wins in the 1000 yard freestyle (10:32.98) and the 500 yard freestyle (5:04.47) and Phillip Kelly-Dotson in the 100 yard backstroke (1:14.67) and the 200 yard backstroke (2:54.34).

The relay team of Hampu, Jeff Budzowski, Carlozzi, and Andy Neimes also placed first in the 400 yard medley relay.

“Our men have consistently performed at a high level up and down the line-up,” said Head Swim Coach Eric Mojock.

The Lady Raiders were led by double-wins by Jessica Shetler in the 1000 yard freestyle (11:22.51) and 200 yard backstroke (2:22.61), Jamie Wright in the 50 yard freestyle (26.07) and the 100 yard freestyle (58.47), and Sarah Eckersley in the 200 yard butterfly (2:36.81) and 200 yard backstroke (2:58.97).

Bellay, Chrissy Maclary, Miller, and Wright also placed first in the 400 yard medley relay.

With this victory in the last competition of the season, the Lady Raiders posted their first winning season since the 1999-2000 season.

“At the beginning of the season, a winning record was not even one of our team goals,” said Mojock. “The ladies have proven their ability and toughness to come out on top of some very challenging competition.”

Four seniors were also honored at their final home meet.

“Athena Miller, Jon Billak, Phil Kelley-Dotson, & Andy Smith have all greatly contributed for four years,” said Mojock. “Though this is their last home meet, their passion and dedication will continue in the program as underclassmen strive to imitate their senior leaders.”

The Raiders will next participate in the OAC Championships on February 14-16.
