Purple Raiders Advance To OAC Semifinals With Win Over John Carroll

Mount Union College's women's tennis team (14-6) won 5-2 against John Carroll (8-11)in an Ohio Athletic Conference Quarterfinal Match in Alliance, Ohio on April 22.

Leading the way for the Raiders was Nikki Camardo, who teamed up with Tara Biedenbach for an 8-2 win at third doubles and won 6-0,6-2 at fifth singles. Also picking up wins in singles for the Purple and White were Mary Beck, Marissa Hollinger, and Samantha Cotten.

Mount Union advanced to the OAC Semifinals where they will face the #1 seed Baldwin-Wallace April 25 at noon. It will be played at Linder Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio.
