Raiders Fall In Women's Tennis Opener

(CLEVELAND, OH)--Mount Union College's women's tennis team lost a close match to Case Western Reserve University, 5-4, in the 2008-09 opener Friday in Cleveland, OH.
Mount Union (0-1) was led by freshman Kristina Hallett (Willoughby Hills/Willoughby South), who in her collegiate debut, won her doubles match 8-6 with Tara Biedenbach (Canton/Canton Central Catholic) and then took her singles match 6-1,6-3.
The Raiders next hit the court Friday, September 26 at 3:30 p.m at St. Vincent (PA) College in Latrobe, PA.
