Raider Volleyball Team Falls To Heidelberg In OAC Tournament Semifinals
The Purple Raider volleyball team (30-5), the tournament #2 seed, dropped a hard-fought 3-2 decision to #3 seed Heidelberg (26-9) in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Semifinals in Ada, Ohio, Friday evening, November 2.
The Purple Raiders were led by Amanda Kohler, who finished with 20 kills and 21 digs, while teammate Melissa Mahnke contributed 14 kills. Sarah Dean tallied a team-best 39 digs and Nicole Baka added 20. Tracy Reschke finished with 51 assists and 22 digs.
Mount Union finished the 2007 season setting a new single-season mark with 30 wins while also recording a school-best 15 game win streak.
