The Mount Union College Volleyball Team Will Host its Annual Summer Volleyball Camps
Raider Elite Camp: July 7-10, 2008 for participants entering grades 6-12 in the fall.
Individual Skills Clinics
Setter/Hitter Clinic: July 28, 2008 for participants entering grades 4-10
Defense/Passing Clinic: July 29, 2008 for participants entering grades 4-10
- Dates: July 7, 8, 9 &10
- Eligibility: Participants entering grades 6 - 12 in the fall of 2008
Commuter Cost: $175 which includes all training sessions, lunch and dinner every night.
*A non-refundable $50 deposit and completed camp registration form is required to reserve a participants spot. Full payment will need to be received at the start of camp on July 7.
Setter/Hitter Clinic

- Eligibility: Participants entering grades 4 - 10 in the fall of 2008
Defense/Passing Clinic
- Date: July 29
- Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Eligibility: Participants entering grades 4 - 10 in the fall of 2008
$60 per camper and includes two sessions and a camp T-shirt. Campers will need to bring their own lunch. A camp store and concession stand will be open during the day.

Leigh Ann Matesich recently completed her second season as the Purple Raider head volleyball
coach. In her first two seasons at Mount Union, she has led the Lady Raiders to a 52-15 mark, including a new Raider record for wins in a season (30) in 2007. In her first year at the helm, Matesich was named 2006 OAC Coach-of-the-Year.
Matesich came to Mount Union College from Miami University of Ohio where she spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach for their women’s volleyball team. During that time she also completed her master’s degree in sport studies. In 2004, she completed her bachelor of arts degree from DePauw University, where she earned three varsity letters as a defensive specialist and setter.
