Dan MacDuffie

Head Coach


Dan MacDuffie enters his fourth year as the Purple Raiders’ head men’s golf coach and second season as the Lady Raider head golf coach. MacDuffie, a native of Portland, Maine, earned his bachelor’s degree in sport management from Massachusetts in 2000 and a master’s in history from Washington College (MD) in 2002. Before coming to Mount Union, MacDuffie was an assistant men’s basketball coach and admission counselor at Hiram College from 2003-04.

In 2006-07, MacDuffie led the Raider men’s golf program to the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship – the College’s second conference crown and first since 1953. The Purple Raiders also placed 25th overall in their first appearance at the Division III Nationals in May of ’07.

Under MacDuffie, the Raider men’s golf program has a third place finish in conference in 2004-05, a second place finish in the OAC in 2005-06 and last season’s (’06-’07) conference title run.

In 2006-07, MacDuffie will also enter his fourth year as an assistant men’s basketball coach at the College..

Katie Schnurrenberger
Assistant Coach


In 2007-08, Katie Schnurrenberger enters her second year as the Purple Raider women’s assistant golf coach at Mount Union. She was an All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer in 2000 – placing eighth overall the OAC Championships that spring. Schnurrenberger was also a two-time Academic All-OAC selection (’01 & ’02) as a member of Mount Union’s women’s golf program and a key member of the Raiders’ OAC Championship women’s golf squad in 2002. She graduated from Mount Union in 2002 with a degree in middle childhood education.
