(CEDAR RAPIDS, IA)--Mount Union College sophomore Bill Schindel (Tallmadge/Akron Hoban) earned All-American honors with an eighth place finish at 197 pounds at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship in Cedar Rapids, IA.

(NEW CONCORD, OH)—Mount Union College posted its best finish in seven years placing second at the 2008 Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestling Championships Saturday at Muskingum College in New Concord. Sophomore Bill Schindel (Tallmadge/Akron Hoban) was the Purple Raiders first OAC Champion since 2006 as he took the title at 197 pounds and will compete in two weeks at NCAA Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, IA.
