Two Raiders Compete at NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships; Loy 6th in Long Jump For All-American Honors
(GREENCASTLE, IN)--Mount Union senior Aubrey Loy (Canton/Massillon Jackson) placed sixth in the long jump to earn All-American honors for a second straight season at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at DePauw University in Greencastle, IN. Fellow senior Judd Lutz (Tiffin/Tiffin Columbian) will compete in the shot put on Saturday.
Men's Track and Field Second and Women Fourth at OAC Championships; Loy, Griffin and Pratt Win Special Awards
(MARIETTA, OH)—Mount Union senior Aubrey Loy (Canton/Massillon Jackson) won the long jump and the triple jump to be named Outstanding Field Athlete, junior Ty Griffin (Canton/Massillon Perry) won the 3,000 meters, 1 mile and finished second in the 1000 meters to win Outstanding Distance Athlete and freshman Charles Pratt (Canton/GlenOak) won the 55m dash and was runner-up in the 200 meters to win Outstanding Sprint Athlete at the 2010 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships Friday at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio.
Six Event Winners Headline Women's Indoor Track and Field at Mount Union Open
(ALLIANCE, OH)--Mount Union's women's indoor track and field team won six events at the Mount Union Open inside the Peterson Fieldhouse in Alliance.
